The following sessions have been confirmed for the Executive track. Once the program has been finalized, a comprehensive schedule will be posted.
“Grow Our Own” is a system-wide approach across the 14 University of Texas institutions that makes an advancement career path more visible, desirable, and attainable for students.
“Grow Our Own” components include:
- The Summer Internship Program in Philanthropy (SIPP): the first system-wide student internship program in the nation that provides paid full-time internships. SIPP offers a competitive application process, comprehensive training for supervisors, and a 10-week curriculum for interns to ensure they have a meaningful learning experience that provides a path to an advancement career.
- Professional growth: Once hired, these new advancement colleagues join more than 1,000 advancement professionals at UT institutions for ongoing professional development. From the student intern to the seasoned professional, the “Grow Our Own” approach offers innovative system-wide programs and services that raise awareness of career opportunities in philanthropy, and help development professionals succeed personally and professionally, resulting in increased philanthropic capacity for institutional priorities.
